发明名称 DEVICE FOR REMOVING FOREIGN MATTER STICKING TO INSULATIVE SHEETS
摘要 PURPOSE:To absorb and remove foreign matter sticking to the surface of an insulative sheet continuously with high efficiency by providing an insulated roller of high dielectric constant which rotates in contact with the insulative sheet. CONSTITUTION:When a corona discharge electrode 3 is energized by a DC high tension source 8 together with each insulative roller 2 and then is charged in homopolarity to printing paper (a), each insulative roller 2 of high dielectric constant will be negatively charged in reversed polarity to the printing paper (a). At the same time, corona discharge will occur from the corona discharge electrode 3 to each insulative roller 2, generating an ion wind. Then each insulative roller 2 will contact the printing paper (a) and rotate in an arrow direction. Foreign matter a' sticking to the surface of the printing paper (a) is allowed to stick to the roller 2 physically under an applied pressure and is further strongly adsorbed by the roller assisted by a static adhesion force. Thus foreign matter is removed from the surface of the printing paper (a) to be carried into a casing 1 where it becomes homopolar. After this, the foreign matter is blown away by the ion wind (f) and separated into each tray 4.
