In order to keep a child-resistant large household pack with a lid (6) which essentially covers the whole cross-section of the pack reliably closed even in respect of deformation of the container, U-profile strips (8) running diametrically in the lid surface (7) are provided, and the lid edge (11) is fitted with two opposite clamping profiles (14) having lateral webs (15) for the laterally secured deflection of a tensioned gripping strap (3) (Figure 5). <IMAGE>
