<p>The partition wall panels have along upstanding edges a groove in which U-shaped profiles fit to connect adjacent panels. The groove is formed by a flanged rim, which forms part of a U-shaped distance piece. Each panel is constructed of two parallel plates (2) kept separate by spacers (3), thus forming cavities (4) which may be filled with sound attenuating material,e.g. foam. The U-shaped profile bottom part fits in the cavities, whilst the legs (6) are bent outwards at 90 degrees, to form a flange (7). The spacer is secured between the plates by self-tapping screws.</p> |
