COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive material which has high saturation and excellent reproducibility of primary colors and intermediate colors by specifying the spectral sensitivity distribution of each photosensitive layer and the magnitude of the interlayer suppressing effect between the photosensitive layers in specific ranges. CONSTITUTION:The preferable ranges of the max. wavelength lambda of the spectral sensitivity distribution S(lambda), the wavelength lambda<80> at which S(lambda) is 80% of S(lambda) and the wavelength lambda<40> at which S(lambda) is 40% thereof are as expressed by the equation I with respect to each spectral sensitivity distribution. The preferable range of the magnitude of the interlayer suppressing effect is as expressed by the equation II. The light source dependency in the stage of photographing is increased if the spectral sensitivity distributions of green and red sensitive layers are set on the longer wavelength side than the specified range. Color sepn. is deteriorated and the saturation is debased is said distributions are set on the shorter wavelength side. The saturation is debased if the distribution of the blue sensitive layer is set on the longer wavelength side. The light source dependency in the stage of photographing is increased and static marks are made liable to the produced if said distribu tion is set on the shorter wavelength side. Color clouding is increased when the interlayer effect exceeds the specified range and the tone reproduction of color gradations is not satisfac tory if the effect is lower than the specified range.
