PURPOSE:To reduce the damage of an ink surface and the adhesion of dust to said ink surface during handling at the time of transport or mounting, by covering the ink sheet exposed from a cassette with a cover. CONSTITUTION:A cover member 1 has a length almost corresponding to that between both end parts of an ink sheet cassette 5 and support walls 2 are formed to the side edges of said cover member 1 at the central part thereof at a right angle corresponding to the length of a frame part 6 and pawls 2a-2d are respectively formed to both end parts of said support walls 2, 2. Further, ribs 3 are provided to the ends parts of the under surface of the cover member 1 and the entire under surface of said cover member 1. The ribs 3 ensures the strength of the flat plate shaped cover member 1 and prevents the adsorption of dust by an ink sheet 11 due to the adhesion to the cover member 1 by electrostatic force and the damage of the ink sheet 2 due to the friction with the cover member 1 is prevented.
