PURPOSE:To backwash arbitrary filters during exhaust gas treatment by connecting heads for backwash steam supply with a number of gas delivery tubes with filters through closing valves. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas introduced into a vessel body 11 of a dust collector 1 turns into clean gas by removing dust by means of a first filter 15. The said clean gas is guided into a specified spot through a gas delivery 14, an interconnecting tube 21, a gas header 26 and a gas delivery line 32. Simultaneously with exhaust of clean gas, overheated steam is supplied to the first filter 15 through the interconnecting tube 21 for backwashing. Supply of overheated steam is carried out one by one by operating a closing valve to backwash all the first filters 15 while the exhaust gas treatment process is underway.
