PURPOSE:To easily obtain a carefully thought out service for the state without complicated operation by giving plural called numbers corresponding to the service in response to the state of a terminal equipment to the terminal equipment and providing them to an exchange in advance. CONSTITUTION:A caller XA decides the service in advance depending on the various state of a called terminal and when a number XB among called numbers XB-XD corresponding to the states is dialed and the called party is busy, a busy tone BT is returned. On the other hand, in dialing a number among the numbers XC-XD in place of the number XB, a processing unit CC applies interruption connection of the caller XA to the called terminal equipment XS for the number XC and the processing unit CC sends a call tone to the sender XA for the number XD and connects it to a talker TKE, and the unit CC connects the caller XA to the transferred destination XT for the number XE. The caller XA confirms the state of the called terminal equipment on the way of connection in this way to eliminate the need for the command of the service to be taken next to the exchange.
