PURPOSE:To improve a current share between GTO thyristors by composing a current balancing electromagnetic coupler of anode side main circuit wirings and gate circuit wirings connected with each other. CONSTITUTION:GTO thyristors 1, 2 having heat sink fins 16, 17 are mechanically coupled through a heat sink fin 18. Main circuit wirings 3 of the GTO thyristor 1 side and anode side main circuit wirings 4 of GTO thyristor 2 side are electrically connected by a platelike conductor 11, a terminal 14 is provided at its neutral point, the cathode side main circuit wirings 9, 10 of the thyristors 1, 2 are electrically connected, a terminal 15 is provided at its neutral point, and the parallel connecting circuit of the thyristors 1, 2 are formed through the terminals 14, 15. The wirings 5, 6 of the gates 1a, 2a of the thyristors 1, 2 are connected with each other with a platelike conductor 12, and the conductor 11 is densely coupled to form a magnetic coupler 13.
