1475531 Ground anchors J M THEVENIN 7 Aug 1974 [17 Sept 1973] 34838/74 Heading E1B A boundary marker 1 is secured to the ground by a ground anchor 2 passing through a central bore therein, said ground anchor comprising a tubular member slidable through said bore and having a ground penetrating end 9 and an open end, and the ground anchor being driven into the ground until an upper thickened portion of the tubular member abuts the marker, whereupon deformable anchoring elements 10 housed within the tubular member are pushed into the ground through apertures 12, which preferably cause the elements to form spirals. The marker preferably has a stepped bore formed with radial slots to allow passage of the lower ends of the rods 10. The marker may be filled synthetic resin or metal. |
