Transom window with transom intermediate webs which serve for receiving the insulating glass panes, are made in particular of aluminium and on which outer wooden transom profiles are fastened, all insulating glass panes corresponding to the individual panes of a window leaf being connected firmly along common edges to a one-piece supporting component by intermediate webs.
