PURPOSE:To execute a operation by installing obliquely a liquid gauge and fixing it vertically, by providing a flexible seal member, and a vibration-proofing support on a pipe base of a liquid gauge well, and the lower part, respectively. CONSTITUTION:When changing a liquid gauge, a connecting bolt is removed from a state that the liquid gauge has been installed vertically, and the liquid gauge and a liquid gauge well flange 13 are moved as one body above length (a) in the upper part direction. In this case, a lock flange 18 is changed to an unlock state from a state that it has been fixed to a vibration-proofing support 19, and since a diameter of a protecting pipe 17 is smaller than a notch of the support 19, the protecting pipe 17 becomes a free state in one direction. In this state, an inclined block 23 is inserted between the flange 13 and a pipe base 15, and the flange 13 is fixed. This is a state that the liquid gauge has been installed obliquely. In this case, the inside and the outside of a container are sealed by a flexible seal member 14, and a moving extent which has moved the liquid gauge and the flange 13 as one body is absorbed by an elongation of the member 14. That is to say, when drawing out the liquid gauge, it is executed in the upper part direction by removing the bolt and using a lifting ring 10, a chain block, etc., and when attaching it, it is executed by its reverse procedure. Also, the operation is executed in a state that the liquid gauge has been installed vertically.
