<p>PURPOSE:To prevent seizure from occurring between a swaying scroll and a thrust bearing without applying a special machining on the swaying scroll by attaching a contact plate made of a hard metal on the back of the swaying scroll and supporting the contact plate with the thrust bearing. CONSTITUTION:A swaying scroll 2 with its phase displaced by 180 deg. relative to a fixed scroll 1 is combined with the scroll 1, and a liquid is sucked into a compression chamber formed between scroll ridges 1a and 2a of respective scrolls 1 and 2 according to revolution sway of the swaying scroll 2, ompressed and delivered. A contact plate 21 made of a hard metal is attached with screws 22 on the back of the swaying scroll 2 and is supported with a thrust bearing 7. The contact plate 21 is provided with lugs 21a aand screw holes 21b which correspond to flat seats 2d and screw holes 2e provided on the swaying scroll 2. This prevents easily seizure or abnormal wear from occurring between the swaying scroll 2 and the thrust bearing 7.</p> |
