PURPOSE:To improve the transmission efficiency by increasing and reducing the nipping pressure for a belt in correspondence with the transmission torque by the speed change operation by a linear actuator mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The nut parts 22 and 45 of the both actuator mechanisms 21 and 50 are relatively revolved for the male screw parts 23 and 46, and the effective belt diameter is set to a prescribed speed change ratio by adjusting the movable sheaves 7 and 33 in the axial direction. The power transmission device for the secondary side actuator mechanism 50 is equipped with the noncircular gears 65 and 47. Therefore, the difference value between both of the primary and secondary side movable sheaves 7 and 33 is absorbed, and the both movable sheeves are adjusted to the normal transfer quantity prescribed by a belt B, and the transmission efficiency can be improved.
