PURPOSE:To securely cool a pulley with a cooling water by forming a recessed part on the side of a sheave and allowing said cooling water to stay in said recessed part. CONSTITUTION:Cooling water W in a tank 82 is fed into the recessed parts 7 of fixed sheaves 31, 51 by driving a pump 83 and via a hose 81. Accompanying the rotation of pulleys 3, 5, the cooling water fed into the recessed parts 7 will stay in the inner bottom part of the recessed parts 7 due to the action of centrifugal force. Accordingly, the cooling water is not scattered out of the recessed parts 7, enabling the pulleys 3, 5 to be securely cooled by the cooling water.
