PURPOSE:To make it possible to smoothly restart and engine, by disposing a heat insulating member between a heater for generating heat in association with the drive of the engine and a wax charged member which is adapted to expand due to the heat generation by the heater so that a fuel passage valve is closed. CONSTITUTION:Since a needle valve 5 is opened during start of an engine, a large amount of fuel is fed into an intake-air passage ion a carburetor through a fuel passage 4. Since a heater 8 generates heat in accordance with the drive of the engine, a wax charged member 9 expands to close a needle valve 5 through a movable member 10. Further, a heat insulating member 25 is disposed between the heater 8 and the wax charged member 9. With this arrangement when the engine stops so that the temperature of the heater 8 is lowered, the heat insulating member 25 restrains the heat transmission from the wax charged member 9 to the heater 8. Further, it is possible to prevent the wax charged member 9 from contracting, and therefore, the closed condition of the needle valve 5 is maintained for a predetermined time, thereby it is possible to avoid supplying a rich mixture during restart of the engine.
