The invention relates to a safety ski binding, in particular a heel holder, which has a sole holder which can be pivoted up, counter to the force of a release spring, about a spindle mounted in a bearing block, the bearing block likewise being mounted pivotably, if appropriate by means of a pivot plate, about a vertical spindle fixed to the baseplate and being loaded by a restoring spring. Also provided, on a spring-loaded two- arm locking lever, is a locking element which prevents pivoting of the bearing block in predefined positions of the sole holder. In the downhill setting of the heel holder, the locking lever is acted on at least by a stop surface. According to the invention, the stop surface 10f is arranged on the sole holder 10 and, within the elasticity range of the heel holder, remains in contact with the locking lever 24, by virtue of which control of the locking element 24a takes place directly from the sole holder 10. <IMAGE> |
