PURPOSE:To prevent the step out of a reception motor and the unevenness of recording by driving the recording paper ejecting motor of a drive system different from a recording paper feed motor in synchronization with the recording paper feed motor and allowing the recording paper ejecting motor to sufficiently follow a change in the speed of the reception motor. CONSTITUTION:The feed pulse of the reception motor 18 and that of the paper ejecting motor 19 are inputted to a stepping motor drive circuit 15 and a stepping motor drive circuit 17, respectively, whereby the reception motor 18 and the paper ejecting motor 19 are driven. Data is previously stored in a reception motor speed table incorporating ROM 14 and a paper ejecting motor speed table incorporating ROM 15 so that the speed of the reception motor 18 and that of the paper ejecting motor 19 can be synchronous. Thus, even if the speed of the reception motor 18 is continuously changed in one page, the paper ejecting motor 19 can be continuously changed in synchronization with the motor 18. Therefore the step out of the reception motor due to a change in the speed of the reception motor and the limits of the speed variable range of said motor can be eliminated.
