PURPOSE:To improve write data in quality by performing the error inspection of data for N-number of times switching a constant signal of a reproducing wave, after the data is written at an optical disk medium. CONSTITUTION:The presence/absence of the error in the data is inspected with an error correction detection circuit 7. An error signal 210 is monitored, and when the error is generated, a defective sector flag is written with a defective sector flag write circuit 3. At such a time, when no errors are generated, the presence/absence of the error is inspected reading out the data again after making on a signal 204. When the error exists, the defective sector flag is recorded at the said sector, and the data from a buffer 1 is written at another sector. When no errors exist, the data is read out again after making on a signal 205, then the presence/absence of the error being inspected. When the error exists, the defective sector flag is written at the said sector, and the data is recorded at another sector. When no errors exist, the data is read out making on a signal 206, then the presence/absence of the error being inspected. And when the error exists, the defective sector is written in the same manner, and when no errors exist, a write process is completed.
