A method for producing active agent-containing laminated paper in which an active agent is effectually impregnated into a thermoplastic polymer layer without causing undesirable releasing and deterioration of the agent by the heat in processing. The method comprises the steps of: preparing laminated paper composed of a paper layer and a thermoplastic polymer layer; applying an active agent to the paper layer; and winding or overlaying them for a predetermined period of time; thereby causing the active agent to permeate into the thermoplastic polymer layer.
