Each link (1) consists of an upper shell (4) and a lower shell (5) which are each formed by die stamping (forming) with a junction surface. The two shells are joined along their junction surfaces by brazing or welding (soldering), the common junction surface extending to the ends of the links over the entire width of the latter at the location of the lips (4a, 5a). Blind holes formed by two die-stamped (die-formed) impressions (9, 11) in each lip part (4a or 5a) permit the fitting of small bars (2) which retain the linking flanges (3). The marginal zones (3a) of these flanges constitute stops which limit the possible clearance angle between two adjacent links. <IMAGE>
