PURPOSE:To obtain a piezoelectric vibrating chip with high reliability and excellent aging characteristic, shock resistance and CI characteristic by decreasing the difference of the hardness between the piezoelectric plate and an adhesives. CONSTITUTION:Plural AT crystal plates 1a, 1b, ...1n cut off into thin plates are abutted with glasses 2, 2' at both sides and then pressed, they are adhered by epoxy adhesives 3a, 3b, ...3n as adhesives whose hardness is 2 deg. in Moh's hardness, then polished to obtain a retangular AT crystal vibration chip. Since the epoxy adhesives is used as the adhesives, the difference of the hardness between the rectangular AT crystal plate and the adhesives is small and the difference of cut quantity is less.
