PURPOSE:To shorten working hours and, at the same time, to easily automate the titled adjusting device, by providing only one optical system and an automatic dividing attachment to the rotation of a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An optical section A is provided with a microscope bodytube 1 which is used as an ordinary magnifying lens and equipped with an interference objective lens 2 at its front end and a TV camera 3 at its rear end. A cylinder 4 is used for adjusting and fixing a desired head 5 on and to the upper part of the bodytube 1 and the head 5 is placed by means of a positioning shaft or sample table provided with a hole installed to a turntable 6. The sample table 7 can be changed in accordance with the kind of the cylinder 4. Dividing of the turntable 6 is automatically performed by a dividing section 12 which is operated through a driven wheel 11 driven by a timing belt 10 put around a driving wheel 9 coupled with a motor 8. By selecting the rotational angle in accordance with the number of the heads 5 and precisely rotating the cylinder 4 by means of the driving section 12, the fixing position of the head 5 is precisely divided and the head 5 is fixed. The reproducibility of the dividing by the dividing section 12 is extremely good and the dividing operation can be processed in a short time.
