PURPOSE:To produce parched sesame seeds mixed with salt which prevents separation of sesame seeds from salt and is capable of providing a sesame flavor filled with fragrance, by attaching salt to the surface of parched sesame seeds. CONSTITUTION:Well washed sesame seeds are parched by a frying pan, etc., to give parched sesame seeds and, separately, water is blended with salt and chemical seasoning to prepare a seasoned solution of salt. Parched sesame seeds are added to the seasoned solution of salt, which is heated in a frying pan by a middle fire at first and sufficiently stirred to evaporate water readily. Then, the fire is changed into a low fire, the blend is stirred further for about 1-2min to evaporate water and salt is attached to the surface of the sesame seeds. |
