发明名称 REFINING METHOD FOR STAINLESS STEEL
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To inhibit Cr oxidation in an oxidation stage and to protect furnace wall refractories, by adding an auxiliary material composed principally of quick lime in the oxidation stage and by adding an auxiliary material principally composed of MgO material in a reduction stage in refining stainless steel. CONSTITUTION:In the stage of refining stainless steel, the auxiliary material containing quick lime, and besides, slagging accelerators such as calcium fluoride, ores, etc., and practically composed mainly of quick lime is added in the oxidation stage mainly constituted of decarburization. Further, in the reduction stage reducing chromium oxide, the auxiliary material containing MgO material (magnesite clinker) and other slagging accelerators and small amounts of quick lime for basicity regulation and practically composed mainly of MgO material is added. In this way, Cr combustion in the oxidation stage is inhibited, refining temp. is lowered, and decarburizing oxygen efficiency in a low-carbon region can be improved.</p>
