PURPOSE:To enable soft charging of sintering material by injecting a hot blast from the rear side of the lower part of a sloping plate toward the front of the plate during charging a Dwight Lloyd sintering machine with sintering material. CONSTITUTION:The Dwight Lloyd sintering machine is constituted of a surge hopper 1, a roll feeder 2, a buffer plate 3, and a sloping plate 4. A hot blast injection nozzle 7 having an injection orifice 71 that opens to the plate surface is provided to the lower end of the sloping plate 4. The sintering material 6 is discharged from the surge hopper 1 onto the sloping plate 4 by means of the roll feeder 2, slides down on the sloping plate 4, and is discharged onto a pallet 5. At this time, a hot blast is injected through the injection nozzle 7 toward the front of the plate 4.
