PURPOSE:To improve a fillet welding bead by rotating a preceding nozzle, generating an arc under a prescribed condition between a preceding electrode and a groove, forming the lower layer bead, and also forming the upper layer bead in the same way under the prescribed condition with regard to a succeeding electrode and a succeeding nozzle. CONSTITUTION:Conditions of fillet welding by a preceding nozzle 1A, and a preceding electrode 4A are set to No; a rotational speed (NL) of a preceding arc, 1-6mm; the same rotation diameter (DL), and a left rotation or a right rotation by seeing from the upper part of the preceding nozzle 1A; the same rotating direction. With regard to a succeeding nozzle 1B, as well, said conditions are set to No: a rotational speed (NT) of a succeeding arc, WL-8mm; the same rotation diameter, and a left rotation or a right rotation by seeing from the upper part of the succeeding nozzle 1B; the same rotating direction. Also, a variation value of one of a current or a voltage of the arc is detected, this variation value is integrated extending over a prescribed range, and from this integral value, the nozzle is moved in the center axial direction. In the prescribed conditions, No and WL denote a rotational speed by which a ratio of a vertical leg length l1 and a horizontal leg length l2 becomes maximum, and width of the lower layer bead, respectively.
