PURPOSE:To permit pressing only with the dies by using a cylinder device for a driving plate having a relation to operate cooperatively with a lower die and connecting the driving plate and an upper die by connecting rods. CONSTITUTION:The driving plate 20 is installed below the lower die 11 and the cylinder devices 30, 30 thereof are so installed as have the relation to be pressed to the lower die 11. The driving plate 20 and the upper die 12 are connected by means of the connecting rods 40. the lower die 11 at the top end of a piston rod 31 is directly forced upward when a pressure oil is supplied from an oil pressure inflow port 32 into the cylinder to operate the cylinder device 30. A work piece M between a die 17 and a punch 16 is then pressed. The pressing with the space of the dies alone is thereby made possible without using a huge press machine.
