PIPE CONNECTOR A pipe connector comprising a body 10 having a bore 11 for receiving an end portion of a pipe 22, said bore 11 having a first groove 15 which co-operates with a groove 23 provided on the pipe 22, a passageway 19 which extends from the groove 15 to the exterior of the body 10 and through which a retaining rod or wire 21 is pushed so as to be received in the grooves 15 and 23 to retain the body 10 on the pipe 22, said bore 11 also having a groove 13 in which a sealing ring 14 is received, the groove 15 having a side wall 17 which is inclined relative to the axis of the bore 11. |
