AIR SUCTION PREVENTION DEVICE FOR FUEL SUPPLY

PURPOSE:To facilitate a fixing operation in an air suction preventive device for an automobile etc. by a method wherein a chamber is arranged to be inserted or removed in such a way as its base end is engaged with an opening of a fuel tank and an extremity end is positioned at the deepest part in the tank at an eccentric spacing from the opening. CONSTITUTION:A bottom wall 2 of a fuel tank 1 is formed with the deepest part 3 having stepped portion, and a chamber 9 is inserted into from an opening 13 of the fuel tank 1 to be inserted or retracted. At this time, a base end 10 of the chamber 9 is engaged with the opening 13 and the extremity end 11 of it is located at the deepest part 3. A fuel supplying pipe 6 and a fuel return pipe 7 are located in the chamber 9 to cover a suction port 4a. With this a degree of freedom in fixing of the chamber is improved and the fixing operation is facilitated.
