PURPOSE:To disperse and absorb welding heat, and to prevent a deformation to a pipe inside diameter of a base pipe, and a pipe axis from springing up, by putting in water to a weld zone of an attachment, in an inclined stainless steel pipe. CONSTITUTION:After executing initial layer welding for bringing a branch pipe 6 to butt welding to a stainless steel pipe 1, it is sealed by a polyethylene cap 3 and a seal tape 4. Thereafter, a weld surface is placed as the upper face, a stock 10 is laid on the lower part of one end of its steel pipe 1, and the steel pipe 1, and the steel pipe 1 is inclined. From one hose 5, water 2 is put in upto the upper part of a weld zone, into the steel pipe 1. When welding of the branch pipe 6 is executed in said state, the water 2 circulates, and heat of the weld zone is dispersed and absorbed. As a result, by a drop of a shrinkage force, the deformation quality can be expected, and the work efficiency can be improved.
