PURPOSE:To feed smoothly a wire to a weld zone by setting an open angle of a bent part of a taking-out terminal wire of a welding wire, to above a prescribed angle which is determined by a yield stress of the wire, and a diameter of the wire. CONSTITUTION:A wire W which has been held upward from the lower face of a wire laminated body 2 in a pail pack 1, and has been stretched out of an inner hole 4 of a holding member 3 is fed to a weld zone through a feed chip 5, etc. In this case, bent parts A (B) are spread out to the right and left, and moved. In said part, the feed chip part is the narrowest, therefore, in this part, a deformation resistance against an expansion of the bent parts A (B) becomes maximum. In order to reduce a feed resistance of the wire by this resistance, open angles theta (thetaa, thetab) of the bent parts A (B) are enlarged as shown by an equation. In this regard, (y) and (d) denote a yield stress (kgf), and a wire diameter (mm), respectively. In this way, an adverse influence exerted on a feeding property of the bent part, of a taking-out terminal wire E can be solved.
