PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent low-temperature punchability and resistance to heat and moisture, by blending a brominated bisphenol A type epoxy resin with a fatty acid in a specified equivalent ratio and reacting them with each other. CONSTITUTION:A brominated bisphenol A type epoxy resin (A) is blended with a fatty acid (a) (e.g., coconut oil fatty acid) in an equivalent ratio of the epoxy group in the component (a) to the carboxyl group in the component (b) of 1-5. If desired, additives are added thereto. The mixture is reacted in xylene under reflux to obtain the titled compsn. When a copper-clad laminate obtd. from said compsn. is used, an electronic appliance having high reliability can be obtd. |
