PURPOSE:To obtain the good stable recording picture by eliminating the influence of bubbles, by setting the size of the clearance between the ink feed passage and the filter inserted into the ink feed passage at a specific value or under. CONSTITUTION:An orifice 15 is formed at one end of an ink feed passage 12 and a filter 14 is inserted into the filter part 16 of the ink feed passage 12 on the opposite side. The filter 14 is fixed to the inside of the ink feed passage by forcible injection, adhesion, or the thermal fusing and others of the filter part 16. Between the ink feed passage 12 and the filter 14, that is, between the filter part 16 and the filter 14 a clearance occurs. This clearance is made 150mum max. When the size x of the clearance is 150mum, there is little influence of bubbles stayed in the clearance. When the size x is 150mum, the said influence of bubbles conforms almost to that of the stable discharge frequency region free of bubbles. The influence of staying bubbles in the case of the clearance of not more than 20mum can be neglected. |
