PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a pallet, to use effectively the lower part space of a conveying device and to execute the assembling inspection of a disk from the lower side of a shell by conveying a shell itself and supporting the shell with a mounting device without fail at the time of the work. CONSTITUTION:A pair of the first and second shells 2 and 3 are equipped in which the low side wall at the circumferential end of a floppy disk 1 assembled by an assembling device 10 and the whole is formed in a plate shape by a hard plastic, and a disk 4 to form a recording layer at the surface in the shells 2 and 3 is freely rotatably accommodated. At the shell 2, an aperture part for driving is formed, both edges of the shell 2 are supported by a conveying belt 21 of a conveying device 20 and both sides of the shell 2 are guided by a guide member 22. On the way of the device 20, a writing prohibiting piece supplying device 30 and a disk supplying device 35 are provided, by an inspecting device 40 at the downstream side of the device 35, it is inspected whether or not the assembling of the disk 4 is correctly executed, and after the completion of the work, the shell 2 is guided to a mounting stand 51 of a mounting device 50.
