PURPOSE:To make date designation quickly and easily by making it possible to make initial setting of a pointer selectively to the beginning or end of a month when displaying a calendar of a month, and thereby selecting a date pointer of shorter moving distance regardless of the designated date is in the former half or latter half of a month. CONSTITUTION:When a date pointer advancing key 1f is depressed, it is judged that there is an advancing key, and an instruction to make the content of a register D to [1] is given from a control section 3 to a pointer storage section 5. Day data [1] of the register D is sent from an arithmetic section 6 to a display control section 8, and one day is displayed by flickering light in a display section 9. On the other hand, when a date pointer retreating key 1g is depressed when the pointer is not set, it is judged that there is a retreating key, data (day of the month) of a register N of a calendar storage section 7 are written in the register D of the pointer storage section 5. Accordingly, when day data of the register D are sent from the arithmetic section 6 to the display control section 8, the pointer is set to the last day of the month, and the last day of the month is displayed by flickering light in the display section. |
