PURPOSE:To provide accurate location of a tool on a spindle by fitting a rotary shaft in a tool holder rotatably, wherein the spindle and the holder are formed consolidated, and by fitting the holder in the body through a tapered part. CONSTITUTION:A tapered part 94 of a holder 86 is detained with a tapered part 40 of a spindle head 36. If a selector valve is operated in the timing when the end of a major dia. part 90 contacts the foremost surface of a flange 38, pressure oil is led out through a passage 50. Therefore, a coupling member 56 deforms through the repulsive force of a spring 66, and balls 65a-65f fitted in holes 64a-64f deform in consolidation with said coupling member 56 and intrude in a hole 44 from a circumferential groove 42. Thus the balls 65a-65f intrude partially in a hole 58 in the coupling member 56 to cause pressure on the inclined surface of a boss 98. Now the holder 86 is precisely located with respect to the spindle head 36 through the tapered parts 94, 40.
