发明名称 FORMATION OF PHOSPHOR FILM FOR COLOR CATHODE-RAY TUBE
摘要 PURPOSE:To unify the quality of a phosphor film laid on a certain exposure part two times wider than the rest part out of a stripe-shaped exposure area on which a photosensitive adhesive has been applied, by forming its central part in overlapped layers through a process of double over-exposure. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive adhesive layer 8 laid on the face area 2 of a beam-index type color cathode-ray tube is subjected to exposure in a stripe shape by means of a mask on which slits of a certain given width are formed at a constant pitch. Then, phosphor films for emitting three primary colors and index phosphor films are formed thereon. Thereby, a specific phosphor film to have its stripe width made two times wider than the width of the rest part shall be formed through such processes consisting of the first process for exposing l3 within a range from P1 to P2 and second process for exposing l4 which overlaps the l3 across the boundary. Consequently, the boundary between two exposure parts can be sufficiently exposed to form an uniform phosphor film, duly allowing generation of only one peak value of an index signal, thus resulting in elimination of any possible mis-operation.
