PURPOSE:To keep a support spring from being buckled even when put upside down in the attitude, by providing an elastic plate which applies a tension-wise force to the support spring of a pendulum swinging on an arm by acceleration to generate a force by the elastic plate corresponding to the turning ON or OFF of a power source. CONSTITUTION:The weight of a pendulum comprising a support spring 2, a coil 3 and a base 4 is mounted on a outer frame to form a pendulum. A planar press spring 22 comprising a magnetic material is inserted between an electromagnet 20 and the coil 3 and the tip thereof is made to abut on the base 4 to always apply a force along the length of the support spring 2. As soon as a power source of an accelerometer is switched ON, an electromagnetic coil 21 of the electromagnet 20 is electrically energized to form a closed magnetic path M with a magnetic flux piercing the coil 3 so that the press spring 22 is attracted tight to the electromagnet 20 to release the support spring 2 from the regulation of the press spring 22. When the power source is switched OFF, the support spring 2 receives a tension by the press spring 22 to stabilize the base 4.
