摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent air-fuel ratios from becoming too rich due to erroneous functioning of an atmospheric pressure sensor when a throttle valve is suddenly closed by restricting compensation control of a basic fuel injection rate by means of an output of the atmospheric pressure sensor. CONSTITUTION:A fuel control means 3 sets a basic fuel injection rate according to intake air rate and others detected with an intake air rate sensing means 1 and compensates the basic fuel injection rate via a compensation means 5 by means of signal from an atmospheric pressure sensor 4 arranged on the upstream side of a throttle valve. And when a throttle valve sudden closure sensor 6 senses the sudden closure of the throttle valve, atmospheric pressure compensation of the basic fuel injection rate effected with the compensation means 5 is restricted with a compensation restriction means 7. Thus, air-fuel ratios are prevented from becoming too rich due to erroneous sensing of high pressures generated on the upstream side of the throttle valve when the throttle valve is closed suddenly.
