PURPOSE:To attain an efficient sequential multiple address transmission by selecting out all picture information designated for transmission to a destination at each line connection and sending the information at once. CONSTITUTION:In depressing a start button of an operation section 1h, a CPU 1e transfers the stored destination telephone number information to a CPU 2e via input/output circuits 1g, 2b. The CPU 1e uses a telephone number to control an NCU (not shown) and to call its destination, the line is connected to a destination facsimile equipment to request the picture information to the CPU 2e. The CPU 2e reads sequentially the picture information corresponding to a file number of an item number represented by a pointer (j) from a memory 2d, uses a DCR 2c to expand the data, and the picture information is transferred to the CPU 1e via line buffer circuits 2a, 1f. Thus, number of times of call interruption line connection processings of the destination facsimile equipment is reduced and the connected line is utilized effectively.
