PURPOSE:To prevent vehicle from falling into any unexpected constant speed travel condition by storing a switch condition for controlling constant speed travel when a power supplying is turned on, and prohibiting constant speed travel control according to the memory. CONSTITUTION:A CPU accepts outputs from various sorts of switch SW2-SW7 and controls a negative pressure actuator AC through each drive circuit D1-D3 and each valve V1-V3. In this case, when a power supply is supplied to CPU through a power supply switch SW1, the input side of NOT1 or NOT2 becomes the earth electric potential, and the output side becomes 'H' if a set switch SW4 and a resume switch SW5 for controlling constant speed travel are short- circuited. And NAND1 and NAND2 are closed, because the output of FF is turned round and an output terminal Q bar becomes 'L'. Therefore CPU cannot accept the inputs of respective above-mentioned switch SW4 and SW5.
