PURPOSE:To almost accurately print an image on a display picture by printing high-brightness parts of the display image in thinned-out dot pattern and low- brightness parts in normal dot pattern which is not thinned out. CONSTITUTION:This system is equipped with a color display device 5, a dot matrix type color printer device 7, and a processor 1 which controls both devices. When the display image on the picture of the color display device 5 is printed on the color printer device 7, the processor 1 generates and sends the thinned-out dot pattern for the high-brightness display image parts to the color printer device 7, and generates and sends the normal dot pattern which is not thinned out for the low-brightness image parts to the color printer device 7. Consequently, the image on the display picture is printed as accurately as possible.
