<p>PURPOSE:To improve a feed speed, by a method wherein a feed means, brought into contact with a subsequent sheet during delivery of a sheet to start delivery, and making contact with the rear of the sheet in a state to be moved to a draw roller, is mounted to a sheet feeding device for a duplicator, etc. CONSTITUTION:A sheet feeding device 5 comprises a sheet containing part 17, a mounting part 19 guiding a sheet, inserted in a sheet draw slot 41 and fed out from a sheet containing part 17, to a duplicator, and a back cover 27. Further, a feed means 101 is attached to the upper part of the sheet containing part 17. With the back cover 27 closed, a motor is automatically run, and an uppermost sheet is delivered by means of feed rollers 112 and 115. After the rear end of the sheet passes the reed roller 115, a subsequent sheet is fed by the roller 115 as an uppermost sheet is fed by the roller 112. When the preceding sheet is detected by a sensor 133, a solenoid 129 is excited to rotate a push plate 127, and the sheet is forced into pressure contact with a draw roller 47, and is drawn in a duplicator.</p> |
