PURPOSE:To improve on-the snow performance and wear resistance by providing lug grooves on the end parts of a tread, providing a main groove which connects said lug grooves while making a specified angle to a center line in the circumferential direction of tire, and providing a zigzag groove in the circumferential direction of tire. CONSTITUTION:Lug grooves 3 are provided only on the end parts of a tread T. A main groove 1 which connects the lug grooves 3 on both ends is provided at an angle alpha of 40 deg.-50 deg. to a center line C-C in the circumferential direction of tire which is positioned at the center of a tread ground contacting width W. A folded part 4 is provided on the main groove 1 at 10-25% the tread ground contacting width W, while a zigzag groove 2 which intersects the center line C-C in the circumferential direction of tire, is also provided on the main groove 1. Thereby, braking property and gradability can be improved while improving performances for the chipping off of a block and lopsided wear. |
