PURPOSE:To carry out the slotting work onto a work without cutting a cutting-in line by constituting the captioned apparatus of a driving-out bobbin equipped with a cutting and grinding band, taking-up bobbin for taking up said cutting and grinding band, guide roller, pinch roller, etc. CONSTITUTION:A driving-out bobbin 2 equipped with a linear band saw 1 and a taking-up bobbin 3 are installed at the prescribed positions in the lower part in a machine frame (a). A guide roller 6 is installed at the necessary part in the arm part 5 standing-up from the rear part of the level block 4 of the machine frame (a), and a slidable band saw guide body 7 is installed at the top edge part on this side of the arm part 5, forming a cutting and grinding band traveling passage. Further, a traveling hole 8 for the cutting and grinding band is drilled at the part corresponding to the traveling passage on the level block 4, and a pinch roller 9 as a constant speed feeding means is installed on the inlet side of he taking-up bobbin 3. With such constitution, slotting work can be carried out even for a closed curve which does not project outside, without cutting a cutting-in line. |
