PURPOSE:To shorten time for forming a curved surface by setting the extent of forming a curved surface for a reference curve and a motion curve in each curved surface, and forming a composite curved surface outputting the uppermost curved surface in a part where the extent is overlapped and outputting one curved surface in a part outside of the set extent. CONSTITUTION:A range of forming composite curved surface from specified reference points P1, P2 for reference curves BC11, BC21 and motion curves DC12, DC22 in curved surfaces 11, 12 are set in percentage. For instance, for the curved surface 11, the extent of forming composite curved surface of the reference curve BC11 and motion curve DC12 is made to 0%-100%, and for the curved surface 12, the extent of forming curved surface is made to 0%-100% for reference curve BC21 and x%-100% for motion curve DC22. In a part where the extent of forming composite curved surface is overlapped, the uppermost (large Z value) part of curved surface is outputted, and in a part where the extent is not overlapped, and in a part where the range is not overlapped, one curved surface for which the extent is set is outputted, and thus, a composite curved surface is formed.
