PURPOSE:To aim at facilitating the replacement of pallets, by storing a set of pallets in a storage conveyer disposed below a lower stage return conveyer so that when the pallets are required, the pallets are received and delivered between a working conveyer and the storage conveyer only during the first cycle. CONSTITUTION:When sets of pallets 2 are replaced with each other, that is, when pallets 2 stored in, for example, the lowermost stage storage conveyer 7 are required, a delivery side elevator 5 carries thereon pallets discharged from a working conveyer 1 to lower the pallets, and then feeds out the pallets onto the lowermost storage conveyer 7 while a delivery side elevator 4 carries thereon another set of pallets 2' which are protruded from the storage conveyer 7 and which are discharged therefrom, and moves them upward. Such a process is repeated until a set of pallets are completely replaced with those of another set. Thereafter, the elevators 4, 5 are moved up and down between the working conveyer 1 and the return conveyer 3, and then normal circulating conveyance takes place. Thus, it is possible to facilitate the replacement of pallets, and therefore, to aim at enhancing the ability of working.
