摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a high output head by coating a ferromagnetic oxide core with a ferromagnetic metallic thin film, jointing thin films through a spacer so as to produce an operating gap and obliquely jointing a core at a back gap so as to secure the volume of a core half on the joint side. CONSTITUTION:The ferromagnetic metallic thin film 63 is coated on a substrate 60 which is made of ferromagnetic oxide and equipped with a V groove 62, and a film end surface 63a is exposed. A rectangular groove 64 is provided along a groove bottom edge 62b, and the thin film 63 is left only on a slope 62a. After a substrate 65 made of a material the same as the substrate 60 is stuck by a glass 66 and obliquely cut, a surface 67a tilting at an azimuth with respect to a slope 65a is formed perpendicular to the groove 64, and the thin film end surface 63a and the glass 66 are exposed. The ferromagnetic metallic thin film 68 becoming the other core half body is overlapped through a nonmagnetic spacer, grooves 69 and 70 are provided along a groove 67 to attain a thin film 68 with the prescribed track width on a slope 67a. A head with the reverse azimuth angle is matched with and butted to an operational gap position and subjected to glass fusion. With this constitution, the volumes of the cores can be secured 65 at the time of integrally forming the core halves, and therefore an output can be improved.
