PURPOSE:To reduce the number of switches by outputting a signal interruptedly in accordance with movement of a film to control feeding of one frame of the film. CONSTITUTION:When the rear cover of a camera is closed, a motor timer is set to 2sec, and a switch sw7 counter is reset, and a film feeding motor M is rotated forward to wind the film. The signal from the one frame feeding switch sw7 is checked, and it is discriminated whether the motor timer expires or not if the signal from the switch sw7 is not inputted; and if the motor timer expires, a failure in auto-loading of the film is decided, and a motor driving circuit 22 is instructed to stop driving a motor M, and a spool displays part 6 on a liquid crystal display device 3 is flickered to give a warning, and a release is locked. Since feeding of one frame of the film or the like is controlled by the signal which is generated interruptedly in accordance with movement of the film, the number of switches is reduced.
