ELECTRODE BEARING FOR DISCHARGE-MACHINING FINE HOLE

PURPOSE:To automatically lubricate and prevent oil exhaustion during machining by fitting a pressure receiving blocks to grooves on a pair of connected V-blocks and connecting an oil sump provided on each V-block and outer faces of each pressure receiving block with an oil path. CONSTITUTION:A pressure receiving block 6 made of an insulating material such as ceramic is fitted with an adhesive to grooves formed on each face of V-shaped notches of a pair of the upper and lower V-blocks 2 connected with a connecting block 3. An oil feeding section 7 is provided and an oil sump 8 is formed on each V-block 2, and an oil path 9 connecting the oil sump 8 and outsides of pressure receiving blocks on both sides is formed. A machining electrode 10 rotated by a motor 11 via a belt 14 is supported by the pressure receiving faces of the pressure receiving blocks 6 of the upper and lower V- blocks 2 and is automatically lubricated by the oil fed from the oil sump 8, thus oil exhaustion during machining can be prevented and efficiency is improved.
